Name: Hoya Rangsan
Scientific Name: Hoya sp. Rangsan
Family: Apocynaceae
Product Description:
Hoya Rangsan is a tropical epiphytic vine admired for its narrow, waxy green leaves splashed with silvery or pale green variegation. Each leaf is unique, with patterns that shift as the plant matures. The foliage is typically 2–4 inches long and 1 inch wide, with a smooth texture and slight gloss. After about 3–4 months of proper care, the plant produces star-shaped, light yellow flowers with a sweet fragrance, each about 0.5 inches in diameter. The blooms appear in clusters and can last several days, adding charm to its already striking foliage.

Height: Trailing stems can reach several feet in length
Hardiness: USDA Zones 11a–11b
Flower Color: Pale yellow with pink undertones
Maturity: Blooms within months under ideal conditions
Other Names: Sometimes grouped with Hoya latifolia due to floral similarities
Growing Instructions:
Hoya Rangsan thrives in bright, indirect sunlight—ideal near a south or west-facing window. Avoid harsh midday sun, which can scorch its leaves. Use a light, well-draining mix such as orchid bark blended with perlite or coconut coir. Water deeply about once a week, allowing the topsoil to dry between sessions. Maintain temperatures between 60–85°F and humidity above 60% for optimal growth. A trellis or support helps guide its climbing habit. Fertilize lightly during the growing season with a balanced, diluted formula.
You will receive a plant that is very similar to the plants pictured. Ships in a 3" pot. We put great care into packaging our plants but due to the nature of the items shipped, it is possible for leaves or stems to bend or break in transit. Broken stems can be replanted after the open wound heals/dries to make two plants. Hoyas are very good at that! However, If your plant arrives rotting or dead, I will replace it for you. Please contact me within 24 hours of delivery of your plants. It is my duty to get you a live healthy plant- a few broken leaves not counting as this is normal. After 24 hours, my job is done and it is up to you (The buyer) to know how to keep it alive. We take great care in packaging our plants and problems have always been VERY rare.
Heat packs are available for purchase with your item to use if cold weather is expected at the time of shipment. (Link to Heat Pack: bit.ly/40ugd4J ) Keep in mind some plants we carry are very tropical and even cold, not freezing, temperatures can kill them. I will cancel any order I feel won't make it safely to its destination without freezing. 📌IF YOU EXPECT COLD WEATHER, PLEASE PURCHASE A HEAT PACK! 📌 I don't make any profit off of them because they are a necessary shipping item in winter.
