Name: Hoya Rangsan
Scientific Name: Hoya sp. Rangsan
Family: Apocynaceae

Product Description:
Hoya Rangsan is a tropical epiphytic vine admired for its narrow, waxy green leaves splashed with silvery or pale green variegation. Each leaf is unique, with patterns that shift as the plant matures. The foliage is typically 2–4 inches long and 1 inch wide, with a smooth texture and slight gloss. After about 3–4 months of proper care, the plant produces star-shaped, light yellow flowers with a sweet fragrance, each about 0.5 inches in diameter. The blooms appear in clusters and can last several days, adding charm to its already striking foliage.

Origination: Believed to originate from Rangsang Island, Indonesia
Historic Uses: Ornamental vine for hanging baskets, trellises, and tropical plant collections
Height: Trailing stems can reach several feet in length
Hardiness: USDA Zones 11a–11b
Flower Color: Pale yellow with pink undertones
Other Names: Sometimes grouped with Hoya latifolia due to floral similarities

Growing Instructions:
Hoya Rangsan thrives in bright, indirect sunlight—ideal near a south or west-facing window. Avoid harsh midday sun, which can scorch its leaves. Use a light, well-draining mix such as orchid bark blended with perlite or coconut coir. Water deeply about once a week, allowing the topsoil to dry between sessions. Maintain temperatures between 60–85°F and humidity above 60% for optimal growth. A trellis or support helps guide its climbing habit. Fertilize lightly during the growing season with a balanced, diluted formula.

Ships in 3.5" pots. You will receive a plant similar to the ones pictured, though size and fullness may vary. Please understand that shipped plants have bumpy rides. A few broken leaves or small stems are normal during shipping and are not considered damage. Broken stems can be rooted once the cut end dries to start new growth. Plants may arrive semi‑dormant, and in winter they may naturally drop a few leaves. If your plant arrives rotting or dead, we will replace it. Please contact us with photo proof within 24 hours of delivery. After 24 hours, plant care becomes the buyer’s responsibility, though we’re always happy to answer questions and help you succeed. We also add brief instructions on getting started when you open your box. We want our plant babies to have happy new homes! 🥰

Heat packs are available to purchase in our shop for cold-sensitive plants. Keep in mind some plants we carry are very tropical and even cold, not freezing, temperatures can kill them. 📌IF YOU EXPECT COLD WEATHER, PLEASE PURCHASE A HEAT PACK! 📌 These are necessary for winter shipping, so I sell them at cost. I won't refund or replace any frozen plants unless you buy one!
